Retired research scientist, avian ecology

I have not been to Africa yet, but the app certainly seems worth the money. Range maps are clear, voice and song recordings are fine. No actual photos that I have found but the illustrations are good. The "smart search" option is clever and worth exploring. This app is not up to the quality of iBird Pro (North Am), but quite nice and much better than traveling with heavy and bulky books.
